Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Belweds you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users: couples, vendors, and guests.

2. The service

Belweds provides a wedding planning platform including event management, guest RSVP, vendor menu coordination, live check-in, guestbook, and related features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may not share your account or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or transmit illegal, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
  • Use the platform to spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform
  • Use the platform in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers

5. Vendor privacy obligations

Vendors acknowledge that their menu data is shared only with the specific couple who invited them and, after the couple-controlled unlock date, with that wedding's guests. Vendors may not attempt to access or infer another vendor's pricing or menu data. Violating this results in immediate account termination.

6. Payments and subscriptions

  • Wedding passes (Premium, Royal) are one-time payments processed securely by Stripe. They are valid for 18 months from the payment date and do not renew.
  • Monthly subscriptions (Memory Frames, vendor plans) renew each month until cancelled from your Billing page.
  • Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Prices are shown in your wedding's currency. Indian Rupee (INR) prices include GST; a tax invoice is issued for every payment.
  • The price of a plan is the price shown to you when you buy it, or the price in a written offer from us that you have accepted. What you have already paid or accepted never changes afterwards.
  • We may change the rules, limits, features and prices of any plan at any time. The current ones are always shown on your Subscriptions screen. We may change our prices at any time, for future purchases. A change never raises a price you have accepted, and we tell you before a new price applies to a renewal.
  • We may offer you a plan at a price of our own choosing, including by arrangement with you in person. An offer shows the plan, the price, how long it runs and until when it can be accepted. If we change an offer, the earlier acceptance no longer applies and you are asked to accept the new price. A plan paid for in person is recorded the same way as an online payment, with an invoice.
  • Every couple accepts these Terms before using the couple pages, and again when we publish a new version.

7. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Belweds (photos, menus, messages). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process it solely to provide the service. We do not use your wedding content for advertising.

8. Disclaimers

Belweds is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, nor are we liable for any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity arising from platform downtime or errors. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account for material violations of these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your access to the platform ends immediately and your data will be purged within 30 days.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage resolving disputes informally — contact us first at [email protected].

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
